The
pictures below show the 10 most common sleeve designs used for supplementary
sets in UK & Europe in the early 1960's. The sleeves appear to have been randomly allocated to the various numbered trays. The sleeve-tray relationships illustrated throughout this website are similarly random and no definitive pairing of any sleeve with any tray is implied or intended. Around 1965, Central
Europe introduced a different box type and featured alternative designs
to those available to the UK. The UK sets continued to
use the existing sleeve & tray boxes and designs until 1966, when
a plain blue coloured box with folding lid was introduced. |

Sets
printed with "Made in Great Britain" appeared from 1963. Some
sets from this period are stamped "Made in Denmark". It
is possible that these were available in UK only, during the transition
period from manufacture in Denmark to manufacture in UK. |
